Music Worth covering PT2

So this is the 2nd part of my review of great music.

1. Matthew Gordon Price

I Met Matthew probably a couple of years ago now, his music has always stuck a chord with me, and that in a lot of cases is what can catch peoples attention.
He was they first person i tried to do a video interview with a couple of years ago, and honestly i made a real hash of it, but at no point did he make me feel like oh dam a idiot who has no clue, didn't make me do the interview any better from my side but that approach made it so that it wasn't any worse.
His Knowledge as with many local artists about music is amazing, and the way he spoke about music, and how he was trying t help others do the same as him.
The one thing that did strike me with all of the local artists both doing interviews and covering people, is the amount of work that goes into doing what they do, its never a case of oh just turn up and sing.
Matthew is one to watch in the next few years.

Tankus The Henge

The lads i first met last year and they were supporting the amazing Land Of Giants, to be honest up till then i had never even heard of them, but as first impressions go with an on stage performance, wow, having a smoke machine inside the piano is a stroke of genius, the effect it gives during the show is amazing, and as a photographer gives plenty of chances for something different, oh and the lead singer Jaz sing on top of the piano and then does these huge jumps  off, All in all the show was a barnstormer, and have covered them once since then but hope to get the chance next year,
Again the hard work these guys put in is amazing and with some really bad luck in the process which added to their problems, but they still pull off stunning shows, and draw in the crowds.
The first show is one of those that i think will stick with me for a very long time, at points i was running around like a bee who had a wasp up its butt, there was so many thinks to shoot and i think i lost focus on what i was doing, but its a learning curve really,
The only thing i have found is that the studio work has a little less umphh than the live stuff, again i think because of how they perform and think it would be hard to recreate that in studio.
